Who We Are

For the majority of his life, Larry Swann has been a prominent force in West Virginia politics.

One of the youngest members ever elected to the legislature, Larry began serving while attending college.  During his 16-year tenure, he served on nearly every major committee and was elected by his colleagues as Republican leader in the House of Delegates for three consecutive terms. Swann is a former Chair of the Doddridge County Republican Executive Committee (1977-1980), former member of the WV Young Republican Federation, former Republican chair, WV House of Delegate Finance Committee, and served as Chair of the WV Republican Legislative Campaign Committee (1982-1988).  In 2008, Swann was West Va. chair of the John McCain for President committee.  In 2020, Larry Swann was appointed by the Trump Campaign as a Delegate to the Republican National Convention.

In 1989, Swann made the switch to the private sector, serving briefly as vice-president of a public relations firm before branching out on his own.  Drawing on his extensive experience and relationships in state government, Larry has provided government relations consulting and lobbying services for more than 20 years.

With a diverse client group (ranging from world-known Fortune top-25 companies to smaller, state corporations and associations), he has experience in several regulated industries.   Swann also conducts seminars on the legislative process in West Virginia, and has been a featured speaker before many groups.

Larry Swann is a member of the Board of the Salem University Foundation, Salem, West Virginia and a former member of the Finance Board of the Charleston Baptist Temple.
